2D/ 3D/ 4D Elective Ultrasounds
We are very excited to offer an experience you will always cherish. An experience you won’t want to miss out on is hearing your baby’s heartbeat for the first time!
Please note: Mothers seeking an elective prenatal Ultrasound with Sonology Inc. must be receiving prenatal care from a healthcare provider and have already undergone a medical, diagnostic ultrasound ordered by their provider to confirm their due date, screen for fetal anomalies, and to look for any other pregnancy related issues. Please note, at no time is this exam to be used in place of a diagnostic ultrasound, or as a substitution for prenatal care from your physician. Sonology elective ultrasound services are for entertainment purposes only.
Below is a guide to help you decide when to book your appointment.
Week 16 to 25 - Baby is thinner in appearance. Facial features are not as developed, but we get more of the baby on the screen and see more movement.
Week 26 to 33 - Good time to view baby in 3D. We tend to focus on face, hands and feet since entire baby will no longer fit on the screen. Best time to view baby is between 28 and 32 weeks. Baby cheeks are chubbier in appearance and there is still enough room to get quality images.
Best time to view a TWIN pregnancy is between 24 to 26 weeks. Twins will appear thin in appearance at this time, but there will still be enough room to see them.
Week 34 to 36 - Unpredictable, there may not be enough room or baby's face may no longer be in a good position.
